Does anybody know this trick?
It's one where four conical plastic cups move from under your hand to one hand only, coin matrix style. I'd be grateful for any info. GB. P.S. I'm sure it could be made, but just wanted to know opinions on the retail version.

It sounds like a version of Chink-A-Chink, which is itself a version of the matrix routine.
Johnny Thompson does it -- or used to -- using sugar cubes rather than plastic cones. cheers, Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |

It is a version of the chink-a-chink using plastic cones. If the effect is viewed from the top down, it looks great. Would recommend using sugar cubes since the effect is the same.

It sounds like the version Tonny Van Rhee (I think he is Dutch) came out with in the 70's
It had a locking "Gimmick" and could be handed out at the end.

Fred Kaps used to do this, another Dutch connection. Ken Brooke or Martin Breese may have sold it in the UK. I don't recall the locking gimmick, but there was a clever gimmick which made the routine look cleaner than using sugar cubes. Kaps was a pretty smart guy, if he was doing it, it was good!
