Has anyone had any experience using Go Daddy's Traffic Blazer (https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/traffic_blazer/landing.asp?ci=9046) product?
I'm very very new to internet optimization (I guess I could learn if I could get my head out of my stupid anatomy book, no fun by the way) and would like an "easy" way of optimizing my websites. Thanks! Josh London P.S. If you know of another product like this, please feel free to share. |

No experience with Traffic Blazer, but a warning about GoDaddy. There are many horror stories and problems about GoDaddy and their customer support. Do a search on Google and read a few, then decide if you want to use their services.
There are lots of alternatives out there. Competition is good.

I have personally never had anything but the best in customer & tech support service from GoDaddy. I've hosted four independent sites through them for the past year and service has been excellent. I'm currently in the process of moving my own personal magic site to them. That said, it isn't the best place for a web novice, in my opinion. But for the semi-literate like myself, it's been great.
As for Traffic Blazer...I have yet to use it. Sorry.

I've been very satisfied with godaddy.com. Tech support is very helpful and not too hard to get a hold of.

As a Go Daddy customer for a few years now I've had no problems with their support. I was actually going to call and talk with one of their people so I can get some of my questions answered.

I'm glad to hear that folks haven't had problems. I've had a few with GoDaddy. I guess as long as you stick with strictly what they offer, you will be okay, but try to do something else and you run into problems.
GoDaddy has done things like shut down and delete sites that have been hacked. If you didn't make your own backup, you can't fix things up because everything is gone. There are many similar stories. I tried to set up a Wordpress site and got no help and was told that I could contract someone from them to help me out for a fee. Wordpress isn't a big deal, most web hosting companies handle these things all of the time.

The last time I bought a web site name someone for Go Daddy called me to consolidate all my passwords into one account as a way for me to keep organized.
Now before you all think I fell off a turnip truck, I took his number, googled it then called him back. They seemed helpful to me. and cheap too.
