So... with an elephant shell, can you make the back of an elephant appear to change color? Smile

You need one to perform Roth's "Elephants across", but first it's wise to stun the elephants with a Tokyo Police Club, preferably one loaded with lead.

I listen to everybody but none exclusively like a fan...I just run across new bands and interests etc and try and not forget the old bands and interests...gets kind of busy.

Jeff, I found the video clip enjoyable enough, but I'm not going out to buy their next CD or anything. Seems to me that Doug is the only one who really knew anything about them.

Most of us are old farts (with Doug being the oldest, but also the coolest, so he's the exception) who just don't follow that stuff. I just had a birthday last Saturday, and got two CDs as a gift. Both were Scotty Moore. Get the picture? Actually...I play more music than I listen to it. I play banjo and mandolin and guitar and ukulele. When I get the urge for noise I plug my tele into my pocket pod and listen to it with ear phones.

You still haven't gotten the hang of this bar thing yet. I'll show you how it works. Pay attention. The theme will be...oh...let's say...ice cream. Got it?

Elephant shell? I remember a sequence early in "The Phantom Of The Opera" where they're doing a sequence from "Hannibal" with an elephant on stage. After it's done, they turn the prop elephant around and it's a shell with two guy inside moving the trunk and ears!

Lol. I know most of you are older. But I figured there would be at least a few of you like Doug who would know them, or at least be interested in listening to them.

I've never heard of them. I stick with oldies, sorry. My wife, OTOH has become a major fan of "J-Pop" after hearing a lot of animae opening/closing themes and the "joke" group rendition of "Yatta!"

Ed, that scene from 'Phantom' sounds AWESOME!!

And I'm sure you could use it to do an elephant color change. Absolutely!

Well, maybe. You'd better have the elephant trained well though so he'll sit in that shell until you need him! Smile

The sequence from "Phantom" actually looks overdone and pompous. It's supposed to. The "Phantom's" opera ("Don Juan Triumphant") will then look much more modern and artistic by comparison. I tried to find a clip of the sequence to show you the elephant, but none of the clips on YouTube show it well enough.
