I have brought myself a silkworm thread and had problems finding the end of the thread. It was after I played around it a few times. Do you all have any methods so that it would be much easier finding the ends of the thread? Thanks!

I got suggestion from other places that you can try to put the reel close to your mouth and suck in air gently. The threat will get suck in and you can feel it in your mouth.
I never try it myself but it sounds reasonable. Hope it helps. |

I don't think hes talking about a reel. Unfortunately, when you lose the end of a spool of IET, it's pretty darn hard to find it again.
It has been suggested to take a ball of way or putty & to dab the spool, if the end is still exposed, it can pick it up. I myself have had this problem & usually could not find the ends & had to buy new spools. Good luck, Mike |

I have the same thread, I know what you mean its impossible some times, blowing on it hard sometimes works to free up the thread but some times iv resorted to cutting myself a new end even though it wastes some of it
