Sorry. I hate the taste of fish. I have nothing against them personally.

When I was about 10, my friend's dad came back from the Arctic with a tin of whale blubber. It was without a doubt the most horrible thing I had ever eaten.

Technically, fish aren't fish.
Seriously. Read this thread... http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......m=27&199 ...and pay very close to the other cowboy philosopher. |

Did you notice that somehow I left the word "attention" out of my post? What does that mean?
Back on topic: when I'm in a restaurant I usually want MEAT. But I eat a lot of fish for snacks--fish and chips and fish sandwiches and herring salad sandwiches. I eat a lot of herring salad. They're gonna take my American citizenship away for that, aren't they? At least, I *think* I eat a lot of herring salad. Maybe it's actually beef. Who can be sure? |

Hey, that's exactly what I do here in Göttingen! Did you ever offer him a herring salad sandwich?

I love just about all food. That's my problem. Not mollusks. But everything else. I mostly avoid seafood, as I'm located just about as far from any oceans as you can get, and the river fish are about 50% mercury now. (I do remember when river catfish was really, really good, though.)
Also, since we have almost twice as many cows as people in Iowa, I am required by state law to always answer questions like this with, "Beef, of course! And you should, too!"
