Last night on Trick Or Treat:- (episode 4 from This current series)
This may not be an exact quote but its close enough! "our most dangerouse finale in this series. Sharon (name has been changed to protect my brain from melt down trying to remember it) will be taken hostage and drvien hundreds of miles only to be putin a sac and thrown in to a lake." Fantastic episdode:- Some major over hype - it was not exactly kidnapped - she was woken up at 4 am told that Derren had sent them and not to panic.... they zip tied her wrists and duct taped her ankles. PLaced her in the back of a van and drover her a long way. Then teh was goit out of the truck and placed in a sack that was tied (i recall?) and on the count of 3 she was rolled gently in to the lake (she had a wet suit and aboiler suit on already - how considerate of the kidnappers to give her thoes and ask her to put them on before tying her up! ). She did escape (good job really) it was a very cool episode (if you like DB). I must say it was fun to watch and he used some nice props in teh convincing her she could do it. He used teh horseshoe puzzle and I have to be honest the funnyest use of the Slydini Silks I have ever seen! If you can watch it agian its well worth a watch (for entertainment purposes any way). DB trick of the mind is available on channel 4 on demand (here:- http://www.channel4.com/4od/index.html) I have not used it so don't know if it has the correct episode on or not (its episode 4 from this series). Feel free to check it out ........ comments and ideas welcome (well it is a discussion group you know!) |

Were you involved? Im sure one of the divers they showed at the end had a shiny head..... Funny really they said they were throwing her in the pond on her own with only a fixed camera then at the end showed two divers coming up and giving each other the thubs up. ANy way - I bet you never saw it - its way past your bed time ..... or you may have been working! (I think the second is more likely!) |

The credits did mention Johnathan Goodwin (as a Consultant if I recall).
As a DB fan (both of the Mentalist and the car of the same initials) I have to say that I did like it, at least in terms of the presentation which made great play of the danger aspect. Also as probably the only guy that posts on the forum that can not get out of cable ties without the use of a Dremel multi tool, I was slightly envious of the young lady. |

Stuart you are not supposed to tip the methods on an open forum - they had to run a sound track over teh sound of the drimmel whilst Derren tied up the bag....
Ken Uri WHO? MM remmeber the Blockehad and the Nail. I know something secret about aspects of that show ...... I shall remain ....... (silent by the way) |
