The 1st review I found and as reported all over THIS is the Hulk we want to see rather than that arty piece of crap from ANGST Lee a couple of years ago. Maybe this time I can pull my Hulk T-Shirt out of hiding. A cameo from Tiny Stark promises a zippy future and another cameo from Lou Ferrigno honors a cool past.

Can't be any worse than the last one they made.

I liked the last one.
I hope that one day, you all will come to realize how wrong you've been. Especially you. Not you though. But you for sure, and you.
Magic is doing improbable things with odd items that, under normal circumstances, would be unnessecary and quite often undesirable.

I liked the two supporting characters from the last one (Betty and her father) Didn't care for much of the rest of the story. The joke has always been; how can Bruce Banner grow so big and still keep his pants on? Well, in the film they changed a piece of Hulk lore, instead of getting stronger when he gets angrier, he got BIGGER. (At one point he looks to be 12 feet tall) AND THE PANTS STILL FIT!

Hulk SMASH!
Can't wait. Neither can my son.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

I saw this film and it definitely is a throwback to the Television series, featuring Bill Bixby. As a matter of fact, there is an old clip of Bixby (Courtship of Eddie's Father...I believe)playing on a television set...at one point in the film. I must say, that Ed Norton really looks like Bixby at times...with the same hair style etc. It really is a bit eerie. The cameo by Lou Ferrigno made me smile...he still looks good after all these years.
As, to the overall movie...I was a little disappointed. The CG stuff, for me, was a little over done...especially with the addition of "Abomination". I think the HULK from the first film looked much better. Story-wise, the film was okay...but it felt too much like a Comic Book. Plus, I'm not real sure why Marvel decided to change all of the actors from the first movie. On a positive note, there was plenty of action, love interest, funny bits and a tie-in scene to IRONMAN with Robert Downey Jr. playing as Tony Stark.

Actor changer: Eric Bana was D.U.L.L....void of charisma.
One thing I noticed in the new Hulk was the lack of dialog from Edward Norton. Excellent actor, plenty of reaction shots but not much to say. Curious. Other than that we likied it alot. Colorful and the 'comic book' came out strong and most entertainingly. One to Capt. America! (Leonardo De Caprio?) and thenhj 'Thor' (Brad 'Stinky' Pit and Triple H sharing the role?)

Not just a magician... he was THE magician...
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth...
