Hey guys.. to do one of the download tricks you all know of already a hopping half is needed...dollar size to match the ending..
I have a beautiful Lassen Morgan shell...but what can I put in it copper /silver wise to fit but not get stuck in without taking out a second mortgage.... or maybe put this way a dollar sized c/s will it fit in my shell? ..or am I going to get into shaving one down? marty |

Send Lassen an email or give him a call.
If the shell in expanded and made from an uncirculated coin... then chances are you could get a standard dollar sized c/s and it would fit. (Although there are size variations in the diameter of these coins) If the shell was made from a soft coin... the variations may be greater… due to the wear of the coin. Chances are if you just had one made the fit may be off… If the shell is unexpanded then you will need a cut down c/s coin. Again unexpanded sets range in size so chances are if you just had one made it may or may not fit the shell. Either way you could send your shell out to Todd and he could make sure everything fits for ya. I don't think you'll need a second Mortgage... I think they run from 160ish to 200ish. that's a good price for the best coin gaffs out there. Good luck. Shawn.
