I think so. I need to contact Dr. Schweid about them. They are definitely the same cups. The rollers used to make the shoulder beads actually give the situation away.

There were 3 blocks for the JES cups, noticible changes were in the saddle nose on all 3 blocks and the height of the cups.
The final block that was used was fine with the exception of the roller set, there is a flaw. The second roller was cut "too" deep when they tooled them and causes an excessive ring flair on the inside of the cup. This was the only thing that kept a lacrosse ball from fitting. The "Doc" and I talked about just making a new set of rollers to correct this for the RNT II run, but then they wouldn't have been "Original" Squatty cups so we left it. The Squatty II cups we fixed the ring flair issue added a ring and also made some changes to the saddle of the cup so balls nested better and the cups took lacrosse balls. We worked with the Doc's tooling and 2 PF/DD blocks we have in shop 1 being from the earlier days of Danny Dew and 1 block being from the original Rings N Things, who did the last known run of Danny Dew Paul Fox cups. Doc also said how much trouble he had making the spinner he had understand what the cups were going to be used for, I remember him explaining the problems, which are really common with most spinners who don't understand the what the use of the prop is. These are evident in what Bill described to me on some of the cups.

That's one of those sweet eBay moments when you pick up something for a complete bargain.
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

I just got a message from Dr. Schweid, in which he says that as far as he can tell, these are Squatty® cups. From other information I have gathered, I am fairly sure these are early ones.
