A client in Asia approached me looking for a great quick change act for an event in the fall. They requested David & Dania, but they aren't available on the requested date.

Does anyone know of another act of similar caliber? Please PM me or email avi "at" avimagic "dot" com with info.

Thanks!

I know Heather Rogers in SF has had success with hers,
she's been working with McBride on it for a while.

http://www.quick-change-transformation.com Sos and Victoria Petrosyan, as recommended by Christian Dux are amazing - but I imagine pretty heavily booked - much more glamorous than David and Dania in my opinion.

http://www.soulmystique.com Gavin and Lydia are also very glamorous - Champion Ballroom Dancers and nice vignettes woven into their routines.

Either act would be a massive asset to any venue that used them.

Plastic Destiny I also recommended Soul Mystique via PM - they are great movers and generally a lot more aesthetic than anything else I have seen. They also get on with the job and do change after change with no kitsch magic in between!

Soul Mystique reflect a wonderful sympathy and rapour which you don't get with some other acts, plus this is in Asia so maybe travel would be easier.

You explained it wonderfully - I couldn't find the words to say that without being derogatory to others. I always have this terrible temptation to mention 'house frocks'.

Plastic - I think you are my destiny! I would really love to have the chance to meet up with you one day. Here's keeping everything crossed.

(And does this mean I now failed the Day counter?)

Arturo is booked through to at least the end of 2009 - it really is difficult to find him with an empty date!

Funny... how very good performers are always booked!

Then there are those who are seldom booked,
and those who are never booked....

Originality and quality pay off and will out!

My two-cents here,

From what I see I would call Stoil Stoilov and Ekaterina a magic act that do a few changes. The act contains more magic than quick change, and it is slow paced.

Following my post above I have received an email from Stoil Stoilov and Ekaterina who assure me that they perform 10 fast-paced changes. My "unprofessional" comment was based on a video that I viewed on an agency site. I must apologise here if the view that I concluded based on the material presented gave the wrong impression. I have yet to experience the show live.
