Check out "Roped by Juan Pablo": http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/roped-tric......333.html Does anyone have any comments for this rope trick? Is it a quick or slow effect? At the end will lengths of rope be hidden underneath your coat?

Henry Evans has a neat presentation causing a selected playing card to appear on the rope after it passes through your body... It is a very clever trick

I've got the effect and Juan Pablo uses it to start his parlour show.
You could present the effect later in your show, but I never tried it. I agree with Dynamike aswell. I think there's no good presenting Professor's Cheers after "Roped". Oliver. |

I saw an effect once that was like this one, but went further. The rope ended up down the pant leg, etc. Does anyone know the name of that one?

If I buy the trick, could I modify it (or rebuild it) to be a colored rope? I would like to use this as the opener to my rope routine and, obviously, I don't want to switch ropes in between.

If you are talking about Prof Cheers, it is a good routine, but one that I bought years ago, fell apart after my first attempt to learn how to use the prop. So be careful who you buy from.
Too bad. Though, I did get a refund. John

Thanks. But I wanted to know if I can change the color of Roped by Juan Pablo.
The ad says you get a gimmicked rope, but at the end you can hand the rope out for inspection. So, I guess some parts stay hidden. This way, it should be a good opener, ending with a rope to continue a full rope routine with. |

Sorry. I don't have enough information about "Roped" to answer your question.
