Several members have written about the Huskey Tool Case at Home Depot for $19.95. It appears they are discontinuing those. The stock in the stores will be the end so get 'em now if you want one. They have already been taken off of their website.

NOTE: Lowes has their brand that is comparable but it is $24.95.

Thanks for the heads-up!

These cases are only fairly durable, but for $20 they're a pretty good deal. If handled with some care and not banged around, they will last for a while. Mine are a few years old and have a couple of small dents, but still look good. SETH

That doesn't necessarally mean that they won't replace them. Husky is likely releasing a new line - hence the discontinuation of the old line.
Think inside the box. . . it's less crowded.

If there is a new line, and it has a little thicker aluminum, that would be nice. SETH

These are still availible in my area. No sign of them being discontinued. I was in picking up some cases to hold all of my gaff cards instead of the shoe box I have been using.

Are we talking about the standard metal tool box that most people have?

I don't think so. This is a briefcase-style case, with all sorts of dividers that lets you divvy up the inside any way you like.

It looks kind of like the cases on the "Deal or No Deal" TV show, but it doesn't come with a pretty girl to open it for you! SETH

Ahhhh thank you Dustin. I like the fact that you can customize
the inside with those dividers.

Ritz Camera has a much more durable case for about $35.00. Also, if you want real protection check with Fry's for a Pelican case. They are light, durable and waterproof.

and expensive. Bill is right, Pelican makes a very good case. They are even great for shipping equipment. However, quality does come with a price.
