Hello there, has anyone got any ideas for using “electric touch” rather than just for “shocking people” I have been using a cigarette paper which is very effective and also wire wool (gives a nice moving around effect and with little crackles) on the DVD a dollar bill is levitated but all our notes in UK seem to be too heavy or am I doing it wrong? Any hints tips and ideas are more than welcome thanks.

The electric touch is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used to enhance many types of effects. For instance, mentalists could use it to enhance the idea that they've received a thought from a contestant. I believe that in determining where you should post this, you should probably determine what kind of effect you ae looking to achieve and then post it in the appropriate forum (i.e., related to coins, cards, mentalism, etc.). Good luck to you!
Some people hear voices.. Some see invisible people.. Others have no imagination whatsoever.

Welcome jezbee to the Café. This is a great place where magicians really can help other magicians. I hope you will enjoy it here and get a lot out of it. It has helped me a great deal and I have met some really great people in the process. If I can be of any help to you at all, please just simply let me know. Enjoy and welcome.

I do own a ET. I had a shoemaker to attach the one part of the device with my favorite pair of shoes. Did did cost me EUR 10 but will probably last me a lifetime (at least a lifetime of the ET device).
Among the strongest effects I regularly perform is the bending of water flowing down into a kitchen sink. A variation of this is lending your power to other people who can replicate the bend as long as you allow them to. While this does not sound like a strong effect it leaves the audience completely glueless since most people sink that plain water can not be effected in this way by a device like ET (or any other device!). |
