Does a PK Ring have a "half life"? I am considering adding this tool to my arsenal and am wondering does is power diminish over time? What kind of things (other than the obvious) can deplete its strength ?

Not really but "rare earth" type magnets are brittle can can shatter if abused.

Heat causes them to loose magnetism.
So keep them out of your oven. Randi |

Credit cards and laptops are more sensitive
to PK Rings then Pk Rings are to most situations. Normally they will not lose any noticable strength unless exposed to extreme conditions. What Tom and Randi say is true and the heat must be HOT! Worry more about where your ring rests then if your ring will work! |
