Hey there all, I could use a little help with this. All throughout your closeup routine you have a ribbon on your finger. You mention that it is t remind you of something. At the end of the routine, you untie the ribbon, and your finger falls off. You then "remember" the ribbon was to remind you not to untie the ribbon. Any ideas?

You need a ribbon tied on your finger with a little bow at the top, but underneath your finger, the ribbon comes apart and the ends are attached with Velcro or cellophant tape. The3 idea is that you need to be able to pick off the ribbon almost instantly when you put your hand in your pocket.

In your pocket, you have a false finger, cut from a rubber hand (Halloween is the perfect time to get rubber hands!). The false finger has a duplicate ribbon tied very cloise to the end. After ditching the ribbon you had been wearing, you pick up the false finger, wearing it between your other fingers like a false finger for silk production.

That's when you do the joke, untying the ribbon and letting the false finger fall onto the table. Then pick up the false finger and pretend to put it back on your hand in the middle finger position, palming it away again and flexing the fingers of your hand to see if you restored the loose finger properly.
