Hi there.
I want to use a ferret in a duck bucket, just wondering, how long can I keep it loaded there? are 10 minutes too much? what can I put inside to avoid all the noise and moreover to raise the bottom level so that when I open the lid it can climb out? I was thinking about foam rubber but would it be dangerous for the ferret? thanks |

I have a ferret, and I used to have a duck bucket.
The bucket I had, had holes in it for air. So 10 minutes could easily be done. Now, my ferret would make so much noise and be going crazy in there. He would also have no problem getting out, or in, or anything. I can't keep him out of trash cans, and have a tough time keeping him in his cage. As far as foam rubber... My ferret loves anything rubber. He steels my hair brush(rubber ended) and goes and chews on them. Then hides them and I have to search for them all the time. But he doesn't like my sponge balls. So who knows about foam rubber in there. Randi |

We've done Dove to ferret in place of dove to rabbit. we used the older ferret, as she fell asleep because it was dark and she doesn't 'ferret' as much.
Randi how old is yours? We let ours (3) run free around the house all day, and then put them in the cage at night. If you only have one, he/she may be bored. |
