The U.S. military has issued a most-wanted list of 55 former leaders in Saddam Hussein's regime to be pursued, captured or killed. The list, in the form of a "deck of cards" with pictures of the wanted figures, was distributed to the thousands of U.S. troops.
Talk about a bizzare routine. |

Yes after showing a few cards and explaining what they are, then you go back through and now all of them have a hole in the head.
Sounds like a winner. Doug Byrd Proud supporter of our troops, this war, and our country (the good ole U.S. of A.).

Doug, I love that one. I just posted it because I thought it was humorous, & to think some people are worried about being politically correct. If this is a deck of cards, I just might have to try to track it down for your idea.

I love that idea, Doug; and I too am proud to be an American.
I'm wondering when the cards will be available to the general public, possibly never.

Saddam Hussein is the Ace of Spades.
Kind of makes me wonder who the Queen of Hearts is.
If anyone sees my sanity, please return it to

I know a lot of people think it's strange that the military would make a deck of cards like that; but to be honest, when I was in the military the cards we had all had pictures of aircraft. Cards are a soldiers' best friend. They're easy to carry, light and help to pass the time. The pictures just help you keep things fresh in your mind. To this day, I can still name all 52 aircraft on sight; and it has been almost 8 years since I got out of the military.
I would bet you could get those cards from any number of sites in the near future, keep you eye on the para-military sites; and of course SOF would be a good bet. Ok, I am not the type to make my own cards; but for $5.00 you can get a PDF file with the cards on them. You could print your own. http://www.white-rabbit.us/iraq_cards.htm You can also buy the cards on ebay for about $10.00. Kevin |

For anyone looking for these cards, they are available to the general public for $5.95 per deck. I have not acutally seen one, but thought that I would pass along the link. If anyone gets some, let us know what you think.

I work scant blocks away from the WTC site where these cards are outselling the "We remember..." tshirts at the street hawkers' booths.
The ideas on this topic are finally a good answer to the nagging, "why do these exist?" that's been in my head. Thanks. S. |

I have just been told by my best friend, that when he gets back I have four packs (can you guess where he's been).
And, I AM BRITISH, BUT...................... The only thing wrong with the war is we should have slotted Saddam THE first time(can you guess what I do?) By the way how about card Warp to the tune of Eugene Burger with the ace of spades. I would love the tearing up bit at the End. Or, how about someone Choose' (???) The ACE and it gets lost in the desert (the pack) and when you come to find it, it is torn into 4 pieces. Anyway I would much rather do a human cremation??? |
