Hi Pete,
I was thinking of painting some rubber balls. To make them look like miniature golf balls. Maybe this would work for you if you can't find the the colour you are looking for. Does anyone know what kind of paint to use for rubber? |

There are many kinds of rubber. You need to be specific.

I'm not sure what kind of rubber.
The ones I'm looking at using are fairly hard with a glossy shine. They seem very common for 1''diam. assorted coloured bouncing balls. Ahh similar to bounce no bounce balls. Eric |

I need some 3/4" or 1" green crocheted balls for Martin Lewis' Can of Peas routine. One of the balls must be chopped, as the can is not.

Morrissey's had pea green at one time.
Not sure if they still carry that colour now. |

Could you not think of another title for this topic Pete?

I bought some of these from my local Dollar Tree store some time ago.
They were multi colors in in a 'fish net" type wrapper. I had to buy several sets to get the amount of the same color I was wanting. They were found in the kid toy section.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

Thanks Bill,
You never cease to amaze me with your vast knowledge. I will try getting the paint at the local small town hardware store. May be awhile if I have to get it in the city. Definitley worth a try. Eric |

"build any shapes, sizes, or lengths of rubber products without any metal mold." "Any shape and size" says to me that they could manufacture green 1" rubber balls. Perhaps worth an email to them to inquire. If Oriental Trading Co. doesn't have 1" green rubber balls I'll bet they know where to get them or if the order was large enough (how many dozens do you need?) they might even arrange a special order being placed with one of their sources. |

If they don't have it you may have a better shot here. They'll custom make them for you but I'm sure they have your standard pea green laying around. This should be a lot easier.

And this place:
Super Bouncy Balls has rubber balls in 25mm - 27mm (approx. 1 inch) size. Looks like they have them in Green, but the listing does say this : Quote:
"27mm Solid Color Super Bouncy Ball I don't know what they mean by "styles" of ball. They may mean colors. They say no choice , but I'll bet if you emailed them and said you were ordering several dozen that they'd work with you to send you only the green balls. |
