Frank:
We talked on the phone several times before we met. In our phone conversations he had convinced me to use 4 coins and use a wand. The methods are mine. Tim had me perform it like 3 times in a row without explaining what I was doing. He was very complementary on the methods, what he did was help me refine some of what I was doing aesthetically. I have a few different versions now, one of the more recent ones I did for the attendees at the last NYC Coin Magic Seminar. But I have made some significant methodological changes even since then. The only person who has seen the latest version was Bob Kohler when I visited with him in Vegas recently. This routine is the perpetual work in progress! |

Hey Dan... Any plans on releasing your work on this to the public...
I love your version on "Coin Man Walking"... And would love to see it published someday (soon) Let us know... I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering. Thanks Shawn
Shawn.

Shawn, every time I think I have gotten to the point I am done changing things, it always proves out to not be the case. So my efforts on it have been as a work in progress, not as a finished item ready for release.

Okay, tangential question here. . . how many coins have you flung across the room in frustration? Seriously. I'm working on a variation of Carney and the fourth coin vanish and transfer of the four coins to my right hand is just a kick in the b@lls. Granted I've only been working on it for a little less than a month. Still, my wife wants to know when my sanity will return. I've told it's going to be a while but promised to stop swearing (loudly, anyway).
By the way, Frank, that looks really nice! I'm saving my pennies. Mark

Mark,
The 4th coin is not so bad. The second one is the one that always makes me nervous. Call me if you want to chat about coin #4.

Really - the fourth coin is not so bad?
Even using a variation of the Roth handling in which you take a mechanical assist on the fourth coin you still have to sit back and let them feel the burn of knowing four coins are gone... till you let them ponder when they went.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Frank, I'll try and give you a call this weekend. Jonathan, once I get it I'm sure I'll feel like it wasn't that big a deal but the process is making me nuts. I think it's the timing that I'm not getting.

All cylinders that were purchased before this week were shipped and have probably been delivered by now. All the brown were sold out and we have a few black still available from the first batch. I think we were able to go from just the one prototype to delivery of the first batch to your door in less than 4 weeks.
I hope you don't consider that too much of a wait. Thanks again to those who bought one of the first batch. Considering there are no reviews, comments, etc., it means a lot. Frank

Frank, when do you expect the next batch [hope you're continuing in brown!] to be available? Trying to time my budget...!

After the first batch is completely sold out then the next purchase kicks off the next batch.
We will probably have blacks available for a few more weeks, I'd imagine.

Just to add about Conover. I got the opportunity to be one of his assistants at a lecture for a conference. I have seen many versions of C & C and I was burning him, and saw absolutely nothing. I mentioned it to the organizer of the conference and he said that Conover has done it with a 45 degree mirror up behind him and nothing showed there either.
Frank, Keep making batches. My only hope is $$ for Christmas. Gene |

Frank - looks very nice. Any idea where I can get the gimmick for the C & C? The Genii Ramsey article was great!
Thanks Craig |

Has Conover published his version, maybe in some lecture notes?
