It is "EMILE" -- Clifton was one of my closest friends growing up in magic. Startled, IMHO, is the BEST laydown for Mickey D's Aces you can use.
Just for those that don't know much aboudt Clifton... he won the Distinguished Flying Cross in WWII as one of the Tuskeegee Airmen.

I have used Clifton's routine. I "fried" a number of very well-posted magicians at the Magic Castle with it.
It is available from http://www.cardsbymartin.com Enjoy the search. Regards, Paul Green |

I know it was difficult for the Tuskeegee Airmen to overcome hurdles during that time in American history. As for Startled, I bought it because I wanted to know as many different handlings for McD's aces as I could. For me personnally I didn't like the handling of the Aces. That's just my personal opinion. However if you would like to discuss it I would be more than happy to discuss this with you.
Magic is a vanishing art.

I think it's a good way to lay down the aces in the beginning. Gary Ouellet uses it in "A Dream of Aces". How many times have we talked about this? ;-)

Some like it, some don't... that's fair. Regardless of what version you use, it is one of the greatest all-time card effects.
