Mike,
we have been using the 3-ball effect for quite a while. Great patter for leading up to a call and or prayer. We use it for our closer... |

So did any of you help the person above? I was just curious as some do know the routine. Did you receive what you needed shomemagic?

MagicBob's Three Ball Routine (Andre' Kole's effect) will be posted by 11-27-08 at http://www.ChristianMagician.org. Click on the brand new Now That's Magic! show #1, MagicBob is on it doing this Gospel illustration after Brad Brown's excellent rope routine. MagicBob had to time it out quickly for our made for cable access program-we are going to have at least one Gospel presentation per program. MagicBob is an excellent magician- he will be doing magic on program #2 which should be posted on our web site within a few weeks.

With Christmas around the corner you can find the large (around 8") colorful plastic ornaments in many locations. With a little modification to the balls and with the use of the "hindu necklace" or "odd ball" principal (with t####d) you can perform a very visual version of this routine ideal for large audiences.

MagicBob's routine is now posted near the end of program #1 of Now That's Magic! at http://www.ChristianMagician.org. Terry Owens does a one minute version where the two balls at the end magically slide together- also very neat. That version may be posted at http://www.Godtube.com, I am not sure.

Right you are Bus, you can find Terry's routine on Godtube.com, as well as several of his other routines.
MagicBob's routine is very worth watching, and the other routines in that program are great as well. I can't wait until I save up the $$$ to get this routine, I've seen it many times, think it's a great routine (with the adjustments for character and performance style) , which is straight forward, and magical at the same time.

My shows are very short, you can get in, seated, hear the Gospel, saved and out in 5 minutes...

I think Andre Kole is right to call this a gospel illustration rather than a trick. The focus is on the message and it's little sub-mystifying IMHO, but perhaps others see this differently.

I believe Andre is indeed correct in calling this a Gospel Illustration as the point is the message, not the effect itself. However, that being said, for many, it may indeed be a "magical" moment as you conclude the effect.
For instance, I have a routine with my large 7 bloom botania/flower. I have a very large cross, music is playing, I am speaking about the crucifixion and then the resurrection. I slowly remove all the red flowers, one-by-one and place them on the cross. I cover the flower and the conclusion of course is I now have 7 white flowers after I take the cover off. While again, many may truly find this "magical" I view this this more as a very visual illustration of the crucifixion and resurrection utilizing both the senses of the eyes (the visual flowers and cross) and ears (my story plus the music). I consider this one of my signature pieces. I developed this on my own, however I would not be surprised if others have developed similar applications. Posted: Dec 25, 2008 1:26pm Terry, I was able to check out some of your ministry presentations on God Tube. I have to admit, I have not been on God Tube much, but I intend to start utilizing this resource more. Mike
The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy.
