What are your favorite ring and rubber band tricks. I like the following from Ed Ellis: "You Ring" and "Rubber Band Through Ring". He shows these plus more on his Volume 3 DVD, "You Ring." I was with "Pinnacle" for a while. But Ed Ellis' are easier to master and easier for the layman to follow.

(Many , that is about 20) Years ago Michael Ammar described a series of three different linkings. One of those I have performed till now some thousand times.

I do three rubber band tricks:

Jay Sankey's rubber band melting off a wand.

Michael Ammar's crazy man's handcuffs

Daniel Garcia's ring onto a rubber band.

I recently received a DVD with more tricks which I haven't opened yet, called HOTSHOTS with RUBBERBANDS.

I think I'll check it out right now...

I've been watching HOTSHOTS with RUBBERBANDS, and I am very glad I bought it.

Wrist penetrations, rubber band linking and unlinking with big binder bands, plus some card tricks with rubber bands. Very nicely filmed with excellent lighting.

I like the Ben Salinas DVD - Hotshots mentioned above. Its low priced, and contains good material.

There is a new DVD that just came out (not from MagicMakers) for rubber band work.

Its by Russell Leads - not bad - good content and material.

has a more in depth description of it.

There is also a booklet on the market called Elastix which is decent.

I have several DVDs and just haven't gotten around to learning any rubber band tricks yet, but I know I must as they are totally impromptu and can be done anytime. Thanks for the reminder.
The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy.
