Here's a rare lost film of London in 1904. You can almost see Harry out of the corner of your eye....

Nope....difdn't spot him! Wouldn't it have been cool if they did get him on camera. My guess is he went home the day before they started filming!

Here's a question, for Houdiniphiles. Where did he get his film-processing patents? It's not as if he actually knew much about it. He didn't have a chemistry background. At that time in his life, he was on the road a lot. Did he carry the necessary equipment along with him? Etc.

I think his system came from Germany, I know the chemicals did. What was great about it was they you could develop the film the same day you shot it. A big advantage over the rest of the motion picture companies. It's downfall was obtaining the chemicals from Germany.

Thank you, Kevin. I don't think I've ever heard of where it came from.

Well, since we're on the subject of pointless trivia: who knows where the elephant HH used at the Hippodrome is buried?

Well Chance, I don't know, but I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted to dig the grave!

You're right there. Where Jenny is buried is truly pointless trivia. But I'm sure will hear it soon.
