My first coin tricks were the coin to nested box (matchbox) and a Scotch and Soda set. I still use them from time to time. My first sleight of hand tricks with un-gaffed coins were Coins Across and Coins Through Table… Those I use more often.
Thanks, Bruce |

Hehe. I remember I learned that trick where you have the 2 quarters and one on each palm and you slap your hands down on the table and then one coin jumps to the other hand. I love doing it as an ice breaker and then going into something more complicated.

Coin through table using the l**p*ng method. I still use this, and sometimes I'll do it with other random objects (I did this with a drink coaster at a restaurant once, that was nice)

I would show a quarter in my open left hand, cover with my right hand and when I raised the right hand it would be a penny. Nice bit of sleeving. I still do it.

My first coin illusion and yes, I still do use it and think it's one of the most amazing magic tricks out there is SLAM by Ellusionist where the effect is 2 coins merging together.

My first coin trick (I was 8 years old) was the vanishing quarter in a glass of water. I later combined that with the coin to a next of boxes (and a little red bag).
I no longer do either trick, but that doesn't mean that they're not good--they are. |

Rubbing a (preferrably borrowed) coin into my forearm. As long as people keep giving me coins, I'll keep rubbing them into my arm. 35 years and counting.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

First real one was Slydini coins through the table. I almost never do that routine as I am usually standing up, but the principles and theory are all still great and I use them.
I still do the Slydini one coin routine once in awhile. |
