You gotta love Tech!
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Wow, they vaulted from #7 to #2 in the polls!
They have a tough test coming up with Oklahoma State coming into town.

Maybe they'll end up duking it out with each other in one of the BCS bowls!
On another note, I need everyone to root for my #12 TCU Horned Frogs this Thursday night. They play at #10 Utah for a game that will likely decide not only our conference title, but the winner is on track, along with (I think) Boise State for BCS bowl. Unfortunately, I believe the rules state that only *1* team from a lesser conference (as the Mountain West Conference is) can make it to a BCS bowl. At this moment, I think Boise is ranked highest, but can't remember for sure. Anyway, thanks in advance for rooting for the Frogs! I'll root for Tech this weekend vs. OSU in return!

Any time a team from Texas gets their backside kicked, I'm all for the team doing it...even if it's another team from Texas doing the butt kicking!
hey now... Shout out to Lyle Lovitt! |

Yes, there are many men out there suffering from this affliction that reveals a true, deep, inner shame. Psychologists call it "Dallas Envy". It afflicts mostly young and middle-aged men from the northeastern sections of our country.

I hope Texas tech has a perfect season, but I HATE THE COWBOYS so much that I held my nose and rooted for the Giants yesterday.
