I have just bought the Wii and love it but my wife does not like the fact that there are 2 players on each side for the tennis game. Does any one know if you can adjust that feature?

Thanks for your help

No, but you can change it so one of the players on each side is a computer player.

There is no "singles" setting- but I do recommend playing on the same side as your wife; you'll improve your teamwork Smile

Interesting fact about Wii Sports- you can actually set yourself to be a player on both teams. You can literally play against yourself! The question is- if you win, who loses?

On the screen after you select players, where it shows the two teams with avatars, just click on the character you want to change and it will cycle through computer avatars and the other players. You could even play against yourself with yourself.

I also just got a wii and spent the crazy amount to get Guitar Hero world tour with everything,drums,mic,bass/guitar.Im enjoying it very much to bad my daughter doesn't get any turns. She keeps nagging me "why cant I play?,What do you mean I'm grounded from the wii?,Is it my turn"

But really its great fun good luck with it my parents are addicted to wii sports golf.

FuDD- have you noticed any issues with Guitar Hero? I've got it for the PS2, and borrowed it for the Wii- but on my system, the music often loses synch with the notes, so much so that I'm playing as many as three bars ahead of what I should be according to the sound. I've had the problem with both GH3 and GH Aerosmith for the Wii.

Oh, and buy a second guitar and let your daughter play Smile

If you have a wireless connection in your house your Wii can automatically detect it. If you download the Wii internet browser you can go online right on your TV. It is a pretty cool feature.

Kyle,
Now that I know you have Wii I will have to play against you sometime. Mario Cart is on my list.

I haven't played Mario Kart in forever. I should hop on and let you both beat the stuffing out of me (I'm not that good...)

Hey NOW we are on to something. Imagine a time when Café folks can jump on Wii and play Mario Cart in the first every Magic Café Mario Cart Challenge? hehehe that would be a blast.
