Hey guys, I need help.
I just bought the Steve Draun's real man's wallet from the magic shop, he ordered it specially for me as he could get it fast and with a bulk of other orders. The thing is, I opened the wallet, stuffed things inside, credit cards, money, etc. and put the instructions in the back pocket after a quick glance, thinking to come home and read it. well, I got home, and it's not there. it was slightly big for my back pocket, and it must've come out. The guy doesn't have extra copies, and I was wondering if it would be appropriate for someone to help me out with this. I remember seeing his presentation and his method of doing this, and a picture, I think on the left side of the page where he holds his hands open with the inside of his pocket hanging out. and also later there's a way he does vernon's travellers, if I read it right. Can anyone help me by directing me to a place where I can get this online? I know it would probably be inappropriate to ask someone who might have it to send it, so I'll leave that part alone. Thanks a lot in advance. Sagar. |

Just wondering but, since I no longer have the instructions and probably won't be able to find it on the net. What card to wallet would you suggest? is there a card to wallet that you find is a great effect? presentation wise. Maybe I can buy the book/dvd and learn it to see if it fits my style.
Don't really have a presentation anymore, and looking through different sources that I have, but maybe someone with a bigger variety might be able to suggest a book or dvd. Thanks again! |

One tip regarding this wallet: find a stiff piece of clear plastic, about the size of a playing card, and use it as a guide for your hand as you insert the spectator's card into the wallet. It goes into the slot that leads into the picture compartment.
With the wallet in your rear pocket (obviously with the open side facing up towards the ceiling), you pull up on the plastic as a 'get ready' before you perform the trick. You just need enough plastic exposed to assist with your sliding the card into the wallet in a smooth manner. The plastic gets pushed back into the wallet along with the card. Then, it's just a matter of practicing your technique over and over again until you can smoothly steal the spectator's card and insert it into the wallet as one single movement. Make up your own presentation to fit the actions. [My personal card to wallet routine can be viewed here: http://www.medicine-in-motion.com/Files/......ript.pdf ] Hope this helps. Frank's right, though, lots of discussion on the boards regarding this topic.

Here is the Real Man's Wallet in action. It is at the very end of the ACR routine.

I always stick the card in the wallet while I tell 'em to shuffle the cards. Tell 'em I bet you $5 I can find your card. Look through the deck and see that it is not there. Look in wallet there it is. (lacking patter and presentation yes...but it is super easy and works very well)
