Can anyone add anything to the following thread?
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=8&2 To summarize, I just need to find a set of glassware that have the following characteristics: 1. They need to nest inside one another 2. They both must hold water (not at the same time) The idea is to pour water from one glass into the other, which is behind a screen. Then, the now full glass will trade places with the empty and it's contents poured into the first. After a short time of this "back and forth", the screen will be removed and show that it was only one glass all along. The glasses, of course, will be nested at the time of the revelation.

Try plastic, even if it means you need colored water for visibility. Nested glassware has an amazingly high incidence of shattering or cracking.

Remember the old Chen Lee Water Suspension? It has a plastic glass with a clear plastic insert designed to nest perfectly within the glass and be undetectable.
The one I had years ago came in a magic set and was quite small but I'm sure there are different models available if you do a search. Here's one option: http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php?productid=3022 Hope that helps, Kerry

The Chen Lee Water Suspension sounds like a good option. I've never had this. Now, the question I have is this: Does the insert look like the glass it fits inside? Maybe I didn't clarify this, but that's what I'm after.
Water from glass one, poured (apparently) into nothing behind a screen, then it is placed behind the screen and when it is removed, it is refilled and water is poured behind the screen again. This may repeat several times, then the screen is removed and only one glass is there.

Close, but not exactly. Plus the insert will have some sort of small hook on the rim which is used in the Suspension trick - which could be broken off, I suppose.
I'd contact a dealer who has been around for a long while like Abbotts. There are all kinds of gaffed glasses around that are sold as utility items rather than "tricks" per se. Veteran dealers will know what is/was available. Even if the item is vintage and out of production, you may be able to find it from a dealer like http://www.ronallesimagic.com/ Good luck, Kerry
