When I was in the Navy I met a kid named Scott Seaman who I tried to get to join just so he could be Seaman Seaman. He's now the Chief of Police for the very beautiful city of Los Gatos, California. I knew a dentist named Payne but what I like is my dentist, who is Doctor Pepper, works on Crown Blvd in San Jose but the cool name is his daughter who runs the officer, her married name is Molar.

This could work in combinations, too - many sports equipment stores have sports shows on cable TV playing for atmosphere. I've always wondered about one chain of sports equipment stores and its choice of cable provider ... does Dick's use Cox?

There's a local plastic surgeon named Dr. Beakus.
Not "appropriate" but there's a law firm "Harness, Dicky & Pierce". They should have opened an S&M shop.

A Google search will find plenty of doctors with the last names Hurt and Hertz.
There is a local dentist here, last name Rape. A recently deceased friend was named Mike Hunt. (... flying under the radar...)

Also, not "appropriate", necessarily, but there is a local accounting firm with the name "Brown, Tann, and Russ"... How appropriate would it be if they specialized in "earthy" issues?

I knew a Bishop Bishop.

I was doing a news cast on radio once and the item was about Nixon's Proctologist who was a Rear Admiral.
Needless to say it was an on air crack up.

We have a Reverend Bishop nearby.
In the 'missed his calling' category, we have a chiropractor named Matt Murdock. He should have been an attorney or a daredevil.

These are not Doctor's names, but I find it amusing enough. Near where I work there is a little professional building where apparently there are 3 Ear, Nose, and Throat doctors. When they are all in the office their cars are lined up next to each other in the parking lot and these are their actual license plates:

The funeral home my inlaws were 'processed' in was on a street (they changed the name last year) called Graves Street.
