I am looking for affordable posters for advertising as well as affordable printers that create custom hats, shirts and stickers. Who do you use for these things?

The cheapest posters I've seen you can get from Vistaprint.com for about $6.00 for one. They also do hats, shirts etc.
I think Kinkos print posters as well, but they start at $36 |

A couple of years back I ordered posters through a printer on eBay. They sent samples - the paper quality & print job were great. I sent a digital file, they printed - first run had an error on their part and they re-rprinted. Got 1000 for under $800 with shipping.
Not sure they are still on there, but you may want to check and see what kind of deal you can get in quantity. Problem is, times change. I still have about 600 posters and I seldom use them anymore. Make certain your design is timeless unless you know you will definitely go through them in a set period. Tom |

I will be using the posters to advertise a show at a festival. The shirts and hats are for BOR sales.
Thanks for the tips guys. Anyone else have a REALLY cheap printer for posters. I won't be selling them after all. They will have the festivals logo on them so I will be going through them like tissue paper and left overs will be discarded. I shall check out Cafépress.com now. |

Rotton,
check out Got Print .com http://gotprint.net/g/showStaticPage.do?......ing.html 1000 - 18 by 24 for $498.00 = Forty nine cents each... 1000 19 by 27 for $799.00 = Eighty cents each Design the posters where you can use them for different events......... My thought on how to do this.... leave a blank area towards the bottom Then use your computer to create an image/document that reflects the current show times, logos and sponsors. Print this out and paste it in the blank space area.... This way you can use them over an over...

I do a lot of public shows that require posters for publicity. I had them designed for cheap at http://www.elance.com (graphic artists bid for your job). I get them printed at http://www.zooprinting.com. I use 11 x 17 posters, and leave an area blank for the show info. I print them up on my wide format laser printer. It creates a print quality poster for about 10 cents each. This is great since I print about 5,000 posters per year.

Thanks Curtis! 49 cents is what I was looking for. That is a heck of a deal and I appreciate the idea of leaving a blank space for the future. I had thought of that but will have to have stickers printed (or printed on my computer) with the festival logo. I'm sure I can figure it out and be able to use the remainders later.
Now I'm pricing SWAG. Shirts, hats, stickers, etc. |
