If I already have Byron Wels' two volume set of illusions, which of the four Osborn's illusion books should I get to start with? Wels' books have maybe a hundred standard illusions.
Thanks.

Four of Osborn's books are great...

Get all Jim... I got all four and the black book of Osborn.

What are those books about? Are the illusions easy to build????

I certainly would like to get them all... but do not have infinite resources. Do any of the Osborn books have Zig Zag? I just don't know what illusions are offered in which of the four books. Thanks.

I found them to be an extreme disappointment. Especially at the horrendous prices of them.

I'll sell my issues if any one wants them.

No zig-zag plans JamesinLA, just a tweak or two.

Thanks, backroomboy. What illusion book would you recommend?

I own the first book and find the plans wanting as is usually the case with Osbourne plans. But with a little planning and using the tools to measure you can build the illusions in the book. As compared to Byron Wells work, Pauls plans are easier to work from and provide better detail for a craftsman. If you actually want to build the illusions I would say get the Osbourne books. I find the plans in Wels book old and the methods more difficult to actually fabricate.
