It's basically as advertised. you receive a deck (but you could use your own) and two different special somethings to accomplish what is described in the ad copy. you also receive a single-sided page of instructions.
to quote from the ad: "no sleights, always ready, examinable (if you must), easy to do". please note that this is not a one-deck trick, you can use the deck for other effects both before and after performing veracity. |

Title: Veracity by Becker & Earle
Medium: Trick with special deck Arena: Close up Available: Any shop, distributed by Murphys Magic Supplies Becker and Earle bring solid mental effects to the magic community that are easy to do but pack a punch. Veracity is a card trick in which the spectator picks a card and shuffles it back into a deck and you show them cards one at a time while they deny it being their card and you can determine if it is or isn’t their selection. Keep in mind that the cards can really be shuffled and you don’t look at the face of the cards. It is a very nice card trick, a variation on a common plot. This one is a bit different because you really don’t know if the selection is first or 15th in the stack but you’ll find it anyway you evil magician you. This trick comes with a Demon Deck, which makes the effect possible. I have reviewed the Demon Deck before and I love the darn thing. It is a marked deck that is clear to read once you know how and if you invest 15 seconds of your time you’ll have it down, that is if you are a slow learner, the rest of you will have it down in seven seconds. I actually made a similar deck after buying instructions and the materials just to do a Martin Lewis routine and this deck is perfect for that routine and since it is printed the right way it looks way better than the nightmare I produced after an hour and a half of work. While this is a cool routine by itself the deck has other uses, so many other uses, that if you never do Veracity you’ll still be a happy camper. Basically if you look around you can find the deck alone for about $7 less than you can find it with the routine so you might as well buy the routine. The deck itself is a play on the Bicycle Deck (blue back), it has subtle differences which look cool but your average Joe won’t notice and if they do so what? The likelihood of anyone noticing the marking system, while clear to you, is slim. I really liked the routine, love the deck, great stuff. |

You can also get a demon deck with Influence 2 also by Larry Becker & Lee Earle. It would be a nice addition to Veracity.
