Note: To clear up the above, I'm sending 2 heads to those few who paid $75 for ONE before I set the current price of $50.
Everyone else ordering is paying the correct amount, $50 and get's One Cup Head. Thanks Steven for the kind words! Much appreciated.

I've been remiss in not mentioning that my cupheads came Monday. Wow indeed, Bill! They're awesome, and fit just right. Thanks Doug!

Thanks again all! Here's something new!
I have started a new category for the absolute finest of the heads that I can do. Please read all the words on this page to get the full story of what I'm trying to do... http://TigersPoint.com The Shrunken Heads will continue to be $85-$95. No changes. BUT the page has a new level of display head and you need to read it to the last word. These heads will sell for $150 outside of the Café (No eBay!) Café members will get $25 off. I need to expand a bit to cover slow times...I will not sell Zibits to the Gen Pub but I think I can compete on the open market with quality museum level heads. Please read the page for the details. My regular heads that y'all have been getting will still be offered. It's just that once in a great while a head turns out absolutely choice...well...read the page. Please. These will be offered on a VERY limited basis....there will be NO links to any magic sites or magic information. I could probably get $300 for the things as art pieces if I wanted and a lot more for the working heads as well....however... Hopefully I can get to point of having a Gallery Show some day...with the best of the best. Doug

I thought I had posted a message about how delighted I am with my shrunken head byDoug Higley, but I don't see it here. My youngest son gave me the head for Christmas and I had to wait until then to even see it. When I opened it I just couldn't believe how real it looks! It looks so real my wife won't touch it. Shrunken heads were carried by Qin Dynasty soldiers in China, and I am working on a story/presentation relating to this. It is still in the research stage, of course. I found an unusual and beautiful Chinese box to keep it in. Anyway, I am extremely happy to finally own a real Higley!

I can make 'Chinese' heads. Are you saying there is proof the ancient Chinese shrunk heads? Or is it proof of early world wide travel? The Shuar of the Amazon (Jivaro) were shrinking heads as early as the 1st century!
Glad you like it!

Here's what I am working on with he Tigerspoint.com heads. I'm aiming to bring the two types together so that ALL are of the Exceptional Museum Display category...as quickly as I can...it's a matter of not only refining new techniques but of a lot of extra attention and time spent. This will mean an upping of the price as it is currently ($85-$95 to $150 ($125 for Café members)...but I'll have to do that and the results will be be worth it as you can see on the site. This is still low as I've been told enough times by other National Artists who are "horrified" that I don't price for 5th avenue or something. I still won't do that for our community. (Maybe for 5th avenue or Bev Hills though! haha)

I misspoke, Doug. Heads were carried on the belts of Qin Dynasty warriors. As far as I have been able to determine, these were not reported to be shrunken heads, but I am still looking for evidence of this. After all, only a small number of full-sized heads could have been carried. The box fits the head so perfectly and looks so good with it that I really want to find evidence of shrinking. There is a good chance I will have to give up on the idea, though.

When in doubt...make it up!
But there is evidence that the ancient Chinese visited the Americas...hmmm And yes...some of you have the elevated exceptional heads... I've been just sending them out as I do them...Jeff Stone has a particularly nice one...I imagine Bill Ligon got a good one as well. I try to live up to the faith everybody puts in me. The next three heads beinbg made will determine IF I can nail that magic formula on a regular basis rather than just one in 10.
