Could someone remind me of the mathematical way to force the 3 1/2 of clubs...or just 3 1/2 for that manner.
is there an actual way to do this or does it depend of forcing another card of a different value to begin with. I might be planting a false memory in myself. sorry if this sounds silly, but I could use a little help with this, thanks. joe |

The standard way seems to be to force the seven of clubs, and say that you have a prediction of half the value of the card in the box.
If you want a mathmatical force, Philemon has an e-book called Nine that describes the mathmatical force to use with that card. I've used it, but at least one person in every group makes a mistake in the math. Oh, well. Hope that helped, Bill |

I believe that originally one had someone roll a die, and add the numbers on the top and bottom faces, a total which will always be seven.
There are many tricks, and many effects, but rarely a Grand Effect. There are many entertainers, but few real magicians. Many technicians, but few artists who use their art to explore their vision. - Derren Brown, Absolute Magic
