Saw this on youtube. Great use of full circle, fiber optics. Unique routine.

Great routine
It has elements of "full circle", and "fiber optics extended". Extended is where Richard Sanders uses the ring, and lets not forget that Richard Sanders got most of his best moves from the great George Sands.

I thought you would like it. In his comments he credits Daryl and David Williamson. He also graciously says that it can be used by others, as it isn't in his main act. Classy guy, he has some other videos that are great too!

His moves were a lot from Tabary, and like Al says, Sands, but I wouldn't credit Sanders in the mix. As I've said before, credit is sometimes given to the first guy you saw do it. The moves were all there, but I found the timing of his act to be distracting and you almost miss the impact of the moves.
I recall, that Sands did ring on rope as well and I never learned it, anyone know of Sands work with ring on rope? There was an "elevator move" in one of the segments.

David Williamson is also correct.
I never saw Sands work with a ring.

How did he offer the rope for inspection at the onset?

Actually I think he stole it out of the bag while getting the ring.

Yes of course it was with the ring. If you look carefully the rope percievably grows about 6" at that point.

I agree, it is much more Sands than Sanders. I found last week my copy of Sandsational. It is what got me interested in rope magic, and still makes up the largest part of my rope routine.

There are complaints a plenty about exposure by all and sundry on Youtube... lets not add to it on this open forum...save such questions at least for the Secret Sessions section or better still person to person PMs Neal.

Scott Guinn's Ring and Rope is a great routine. It's availabe for download from greatscottmagic.com for $10. Lots of very magical penetrations. I had done my homework on this same topic not long ago, and finally settled on this routine. I really like it.

plastic rings come in all sizes and colors. They are more visible than linking rings too.

Very nice routine and performance. One of the things I like about youtube is the opportunity it gives one to check out how others perform the moves, as well as giving one an idea how something might go over for an audience. Now if I can only think of any other reasons to like youtube...
