I am going to drop the movie channels and see if anyone notices. The wife insisted we get it (I'm the only one who watches movies) and I found out she programed her channels and didn't include any of the HBO or other movie channels!

As for cutting back, my wife and I go out to eat much less than we used to. I have slightly cut back on purchasing new books as well...

I'm cheap. I'll probably notice no difference.

I also have to say so long to my subscription to Sirius satellite radio.

I just can’t afford these perks no more. So for the time being…

Exactly how much a month does this add up to anyhow?

Odd I never thought of those publications as "perks" before LOL. The radio on the other hand is nice. I like not to have to change stations driving on the road.

The two mags were about $40 something each.

The radio about $150 something.

I don't know how long I'll be able to last without the radio?

So far I'm doing OK. No cutbacks as of yet. But then I've got a 9 to 5 to help ends meet. which is good as I'm sure my usual festival and library shows are going to be pretty sparse for the next couple of years.

$150 something a year you mean? My Sirius is like 12 bucks a month.

So an economic downturn worst seen since the depression, and you are giving up less than $200? Geeze you are lucky.

I saw a joke a while back that pointed out, "Instead of soup lines, we have Blackberry (iPod) lines."

I'm all for freedom of choice and capitalism. But D a m n do people spend a lot of time and money on inconvenient distractions. That is ... until the next crisis of the week comes along. Smile

Yea we are told to move from crisis to crisis and not pay attention. Stop to think and you become the most dangerous thing to a government. An educated electorate.

Now I understand why Justin keeps saying Danny is a hot chick - he's had to cut back on the real ones!

That's all in the past Destiny.

I have a new found respect for Danny Doyle (SHUT UP! Smile)

He is NOT a hot chick.

DANNY DOYLE is ALL man!

Not only that but I've been allowed a sneak peak into the amazing world of DANNY DOYLE (SHUT UP!).

I am on the top of the Danny Doyle Fan wagon and can say in ALL honesty that he is one of the BEST magicians working.

I am nothing.

DANNY DOYLE (SHUT UP!) is AMAZING.

I am a better person because of getting to know this incredible man!

There are NOT many performers that I can say have the goods. DANNY DOYLE (SHUT UP!) definitely has the goods!

I am proud to say that I had the chance to catch a glimpse of the real DANNY DOYLE (SHUT UP!)...

And that's all I'm saying about that!
