Hi. I am planning on ordering one of Curtis Kam's DVDs. I am debating whether or not to get FIsts of Fury or Silverado. Errr. I am not too much worried about the difficulty. I am not much of a gaffed coin worker but I am willing to make exceptions. I am mainly interested in stand up and walkaround. Thanks!

Mark, I suggest you pick up all of Curtis' work. But, if you're going to pick between the two, might as well go in order.
Best, Joe

I considered Cashablanca for a while but figured that 2 and 3 would benefit me more but then again I love 3 fly... Crap lol.

I love them all. Number 4 is really good and worth your consideration. The way I bought them was, Palms II, Palms I, Palms III, Palms IIII. They're all worth the money.

I don't want to reveal anything, but Connor, you by now probably know my standards and expectations with gaffs and extras etc. Would cashablanca be more for me than the other 2?

Yea, probably. Out of 5 routines only 1 uses a gaff, a very basic gaff that any coin guy should have, (and their's a bonus routine with two homemade gaffs). The Greatest ($3) show on earth is basically worth the price of the dvd for me. Their is some edge grippy stuff on it(kainoa style edge grip), which I know you want to try and get into. You'll like all of them. I'll go out on a limb and say 2 was my favorite. BUUUUUTTT, I perform almost nothing from that one. I just like it, and I like working on the material etc. 3 and 4 have the most "performable" material. 4 might be my second favorite (or maybe it's my first favorite xD, it's hard to say). Get number 4. You can pick up 3 as a bonus on penguin sometime. And 2 is all pretty difficult.

Ok, guess I'm sold. Or am I lol. I think the reason I am so drawn to number 2 is because the beijing coins across. I noticed a move in that performance that I figured out on my own but I want to know the name of it. Idk. I will stick with Cashablanca since I have gotten more straight answers from that one lol. Thanks for everything guys! Oh and plus my birthday is coming up soon so I can ask for one of the others.

I prefer number 2. I like the variety of effects and I think Beijing Coins Across and The Goblet are excellent! I also really liked the Coercive Purse. And Reed's International Dissolve is my new toy of choice.

I'm going to join in on the Kam love here. I've only seen 1,2 & 3, but they are all absolutely fantastic. Compared to cards, there's a real lack of strong coin material on DVD. This set contains some real stunners, which if I had the time (and talent) I'd add immediately.
Beijing Coins Across is brilliant - I can't envisage a single person who didn't go 'Woah!' when they saw that first change. I also love the Silk & Silver (I think that's the one, with the big chinese coin at the end) from POS 1. And Silver Circle, also fantastic: loads of great coin ideas which you may not have seen before. I could go on, but you get the idea. All the best T |

Mr. kam is a genius, I only own palms two but the section with kainoa and the ideas presented completely took my magic in a whole new direction. I'm a little under 110% sure any thing he releases is worth looking into like everyone above has said.
