Anyone else seen or purchased this new effect? I've seen it and used it, and it plays BIG. Creative idea...simple and strong.

I've seen it and can honestly say it's one of the BEST card revelations I've seen in a long time.
I've seen layman bulge their eyes and run around in circles screaming. Imagine the impact you get from Out of This World. Now imagine being able to produce that kind of impact from an impromptu card revelation. It's THAT good. Buy it if you are looking for a strong piece of magic, you won't regret it.

Where can you find this at and what is the effect? I would like to know more.

Magicsmith carries it now and I think other retailers will get it shortly.
The effect is this: A card is selected and the spectator asks to borrow a lighter. He burns(heats up) his fingertips with the lighter and two blisters appear. One blister looks like a number and the other a suit. It turns out to match the selection. I know the inventor of this item. However, I have no financial interest whatsoever, I just want to share my impressions of the effect. It's fun to perform and the reactions are really amazing, even to someone as jaded as I am towards card revelations.

Ken Sands has them at Magic Galore in Westminster, also. I've seen people absolutely freak over this one, too. There's something about the revelation that people see as "real magic."

Okay, sounds great. I don't think the trick would really be for the sqeamish though.

Was wondering if someone could answer this question... can you only do the revelation a certain number of times before you have to buy another gimmick? Or will this gimmick last me for a long long time?
Thanks

The gimmick will literally last a lifetime. It's well made.

I concur...very cool idea. I've been toying with it the past few gigs and it does play fairly big...you get 4 different cards per gimmick and he makes three different gimmicks for a total of 12 cards, if you buy 'em all....4 is plenty though.

I like it. I only wish it were lighter and more compact.

I recently purchased this and must say I like it very much. I don't praise a lot of things I buy (In fact in that same order, I bought 3 stinkers - that was money wasted), but I'd say you WILL use this effect.

Oh, my god. This just arrived today and I am totally happy. This will freak people out. I was skeptical at first on this one thinking it would take alot of preparation and moves, but I am totally pleased. This is definitely worth the price. Thanks to Mr. Walske for coming up with this one.

This wasn't created by Greg Wilson. It was created by Brent Walske. Greg provided a quote, that's all.

Thanks for the comments folks...I'm new to magic and not too accomplished with card in particular. Is whatever force that's required easy to do?

Melish - You have to already know a force. Just use whatever you can do. This doesn't come with a big lot of instructions or much of a routine.
