1. What is the strongest form of magic? a) Impromtu b) Cards c) Coins d) Kids e) Illusion f) Close-Up g) Caberet h) Mentalism/NLP only pick one. (H)
2. Name 3 strengths you have as a performer. 1) I have the ability to take a Hard Trick, and re-work it so it's easier without taking away the impact. Yes I have no patience...lol. That's another question though. 2) I seem to have a charisma when performing live after just doing standard Mental Effects people want me to read their palm, and I'll do some good harmless cold-reading 3) In the way I sell myself to laymen. Now all magicians do this, so don't feel put down. I'll say "Now most magicians will just find your card, right? What makes me different" (I don't say better I'm humble) "I like to take my magic a step further, like I won't just find your card but I'll have you hold the wrong card and as you hold it in your hands, no way I can get to it, it changes into your card, or perhaps I'll make it float out of the deck..., etc.." 3. Name three weakness you have as a performer 1) I'm impatient. I like somewhat easy tricks I can learn right off. I've performer magic for 17 years and I've never had the Cups 'N' Balls, Linking Rings in my Act. I could never get the "count" down for the rings. Ever Professor's Nightmare, I still don't know how to show them one by one. I still do mind you, but just show all three. I do, do some intense stuff (other stuff) that takes lots of practice, such as Faro Shuffle. 2) For me the line between magician & spectator gets blurred. Having literally just one friend I'll admit I'm out to make friends exchange numbers MySpace URLS. I even give them a group hug before they go. I crave human contact, and touch. 3) My patter. My patter has always been weak. I'll go out kinda having a idea of what I'll say, I'll ad-lib a few times and whichever gets the best reaction I keep, problem solved. 4. What was your worst "Flash," and (or) embarrassing moment you've had in your performing life? I flashed doing my Mullica Wallet (underneath) in front of 50 people, and they all walked off, and on two occasions one time I didn't even see the guy the other time I wasn't paying attention, I flashed the **** in "In A Flash" 5. What was the most meanest thing someone said or did as a spectator? Well I lasted 9 years without having to call the police, I had to flag one down. I was doing my magic, a guy came next to me as I was doing A.C. - Card To Wallet (Note my performing saved me, and his sorry *** if I wasn't performing, I promise you this guy would have serious physical damage to himself, probably literally knocked him out cold with a moderate concussion), the guy took out his thang and started ****ing right. So I moved my stand, and stuff, down, and he followed me aiming his stream on me, and my stuff. I saw a cop, flagged him down. He was arrested for Lewd and Lascivious, or conceivious conduct. It wasn't disorderly conduct. I and my spectators (I felt bad for them) had to write out incident reports. I still got a $5.00 tip though. 6. What was the most unprofessional thing you ever did? Wow, I did a post on this, and it's embarrassing. I was doing "Interceptor" (Buy this if you don't have it. talk about a perfect Card Thru Window. I'm surprised no one's every thought of that. I've never seen it as an idea for that.[/b]) in which I've had standing ovations (well they already were standing, but they would stand up if they weren't already trust me...lol). I did it for this girl, and she was like, "I've seen better, nice snake light though" (I have one wrapped around my neck for lighting and light from the closed store window behind me for light). Yes that's it. When she was like 100 feet away I yelled, "and don't come back". I had one of those three foot basket things with 2 wheels so you can haul stuff in (Old People use it for groceries), I took it picked it up, and literally threw it 10 feet away with force on cement stairs smashing it. I was enraged. The thing is like I think I knew her from a few years ago, and she and her friends were snobby stuck-ups one of my biggest pet peeves. Then get this I went to see the play "The Wizard Of Oz" (Best movie and play ever made), and she was the star. She played Dorothy. She was a fellow performer. She did good. I told her backstage, she politely said thank you, and went on talking to her friends. Danny Hustle in that post said, "Now Eddini That's A Class Act." 7. What are your top 5 card tricks in no particular order? 1)Anniversary Waltz 2)In A Flash 3)A.C.-Card To Wallet 4)Title Bout with my own twist 5) "My (Not Bill's...lol...J/K) Favorite Card Trick 8. What are your top 5 coin tricks in no particular order? All I know is the French Drop which I only do for kids, or adults, on the half serious (if it works), and half joking, (if it doesn't...lol. I know the downs Palm, French Drop Switch, The Vernon Load, The L'Masque Load. That's it. I I only really do only gimmicked coin tricks 1)Scotch & Soda My All Time Favorite 2)Lethal Tender 3)Nickles To Dimes, wow can't think of any others??? 9. What are your top 5 mentalism effects in no particular order? 1)3 Dimensional Telepathy the Osterlind ETMMM. This is the best telepathic stunt!!! 2)Telekinetic Silverware 3)Book Test, ****, I just use a 1-way Clear-Vue Change Bag, It's simple, and to the point. 4)I guess someone's astrology sign, and a symbol they write in a box on the back of my business card; a great way to give it out. I use Banachek's Close-Up Duplication p***. It's the best ***** ever!!! (Sorry Richard Busch). Only 2 times out 300 times did someone figure it out. You can do it 70% surrounded; very natural, no tearing and you hand it out. 5)Mind Power Deck 10. What are your top 5 illusions in no particular order ? I don't do illusions. 11. What are your top 5 favorite kid magic tricks in no particular order? 1)Water Casket 3 feet Silk Production 2)Handkerchief vanish via T.T. to Popcorn Box 3) Cut 'N' Restored Rope 4)Hang Em High (Though the gimmick came out) 5)Coloring Book, Hell a few more, Visual Card Tricks like 6)Mental Photography, 7)Red Hott Mama, 8)Vanishing Deck (with the black holding case) 9)Lewiscone 10)Professor's Nightmare 12. What living and (or) passed away magician has inspired you the most and why? Very easy, Harry Houdini. As a young teen I read his autobiography, and like 8 biographies on him. Without reading about him, there would be no Eddini. He was the very best escape artist, magician to ever, walk the earth. I think if he was alive now, he would outdo all (no offense to escape artist bud, and magicians) other magicians, yes, including Copperfeild, and people like Dean Gunnarson, and Steve Baker..., etc.. 13. What has magic, or whatever you do, taught you about everyday life? Not to sound cliche, but dream up effects, come up with solutions, anything is possible, and my quote, "Let there be a bit of magic in your everyday life," meaning, notice the natural magic around you, the rain, snow, unspoken communication between lovers..., etc.. 14. I'm sureeveryone teaches at least one trick if they are dead certain someone is into magic, and may have shown you a beginners trick. What trick do you teach? I teach a key card effect. The deck is mixed, they replace the card on top, you have them cut the deck anywhere 3 times and you tell them it's the the left always of the *** card. I not only teach that but I spend 10 minutes on performance theory. I tell them don't just push their card out. Spread face up do a slow mind reading effect get color first, suit, if it's high, or the pulse trick. I really drive that home. 15. Name 3 steps you personally need to take to become a better performer. 1) More Patience 2) Be more open to suggestions and not so extremely sensitive 3) Read...read...read, learn more buy more tricks, videos..., etc.. Just erase my answers and put in your own. Feel free to add a question or two, I'll answer them. Thanks, and really, really, put honest thought into this. Thanks, Ed, (Eddini), C.H.

1. What is the Strongest Form Of Magic? a)Impromtu b)Cards c)Coins d)Kids e)Illusion f)Close-Up g)Caberet h)Mentalism/NLP ONLY PICK ONE.
(H) 2. Name 3 Strengths You Have As a Performer. 1)Conviction in my presentation. My wife equates my style as a cross between Orson Welles and a tent minister. 2)I have, and use, a solid background in theatre and stage movement. 3)I’m personable with my audience. 3. Name Three Weakness You Have As A Performer 1) I don’t know that it’s a ‘weakness,’ but I’m a sleight-of-hand minimalist; I have only learned a small handful of sleights that lend themselves to my specific needs. 2) I’m a recalcitrant businessman and marketer. I’m working to change that. 3) I’ve let years as a desk jockey catch up to me, hampering some of what I used to do. I’m working to lose weight and get back in shape. 4. What was your worse "Flash" and (or) Embarrassing Moment you've had in your performing life? I once absent-mindedly grabbed the wrong end of the card during my version of “Out to Lunch.” I’ve learned to be more observant. 5. What was the meanest thing someone said or did as a spectator? In high school, a gruff student, part of a group watching me perform, snorted, “Cheap trickery.” 6. What was the most unprofessional Thing you ever did? In my teen, barnstorming period, I once railed at a deliberately-testy audience in frustration; a cardinal sin in performing. 7. What are TOP 5 Card Tricks In No Particular Order? No interest in card effects beyond adapting them to mentalism or bizarrism. 8. What Are Your Top 5 Coin Tricks In No Particular Order? See above. 9. What Are Your Top 5 Mentalism Effects In No Particular Order? 1) Mental Epic 2) Ultimate Prediction 3) Improving on Dr. Rhine 4) Marka-Thot 5) Headline prediction 10. What Are Your Top 5 Illusions In No Paticular Order? If you classify escape stunts in the same class as ‘illusions’: 1) 75 ft. rope challenge 2) Tom Horn Belt 3) Water-filled Drum Escape 4) Straitjacket 5) Handcuff & Chain Dive 11. What Are Your Top 5 Favorite Kid Magic Trick In No Particular Order? 1) Turkish Turmoil 2) Grant Teakettle 3) Alchemist’s Goblet [original routine] 4) Cut & Restored Rope 5) The Sure Thing 12. What Living and (or) Passed Away Magician Has Inspired you the most and why? Orson Welles; the man had such conviction that he could tell you the most outlandish things and yet, for the duration of the performance, he was BELIEVABLE. 13. What has Magic or whatever you do taught you about everyday life? Reality is largely subjective. 14. I'm sure EVERYONE teaches at least ONE TRICK if they are DEAD CERTAIN someone is into Magic and may have shown you a beginners trick. Nothing comes to mind. 15. Name 3 steps you personally need to take to become a better performer. 1) More attention to business & marketing; become more active in promoting my shows. 2) Get a new PA system. 3) Get in better physical shape.
