Does anyone ever think about carpooling or rooming up at conventions to save money and help other magicians. What are some of your ideas on this?

It happens at every convention I've ever been to. Kids with no money sleep on the floor. The old guys coughing up enough dough to make sure the youngsters that spent all their dough on lecture notes still get a meal.
No thoughts on this one. It just is. KG |

I have only been to one convention and I lived fairly close to it. Either way, I probably wouldnt have even gone to sleep. When I left (at like 3 AM) guys were still sessioning! Had I not been dead tired from the previous day I prolly woulda stuck with em!
A thread on carpooling is a good idea. |

Hefemexy the place to post a thread like this is in the "So Happy together..." section. Go check it out, endless threads about conventions etc.
In fact there are a few discussions having to do with finding roomies for various conventions already underway. |
