Last night I was getting ready to throw a kleenex box away...(the tall ones) and started playing and looking at it.
I opened up the back and stuck my hand up through the opening. (think rabbit in the hat) I asked my wife what character would come out of the box. She quickly said..Snot.... which got me thinking...a snotty character..(easy to develop) but then I thought about making a large "Snot"...thought about slime etc... Can anyone help me brainstorm materials and ..... Thanks alot.... It may not go into my regular programs..but it might be a hit during my middle school workshops on puppetry...

This isnot funny... You're going to have a "booger" of a time "picking" the right material to make it out of so don't "blow it!"

To many this will of course not be funny and to some...to crude...
like I said it was only planted in my nearly normal brain last night. Don't know if it will develop into a routine about colds, bad puns or wash your hands...educational routine..or go back into the caverns of my brain..(or sinus said Nigel the puppet that rocks, talks and sneezes) I am looking for materials for the puppet ...not patter .. Harris ..achoooooooooooooooooooo......deutsch

Another puppet idea..came after lunch...a character with severe allergies....
either a puppet with a very small nose or one that is plain as the nose on my face. He/she would be allergic to something most people love... a. chocolate b. apple pie c.??????

What about a puppet that was ONLY a nose? (He would have been here sooner, but he was "running" late!)
And maybe he's allergic to children (or thinks he is) . . . good thing there aren't any here to see our show this afternoon . . . . |

Got me thinking about a puppet who has a terrible cold. The voice itself is always funny, and exaggerated cold symptoms could be visually fun. Big red nows, half-closed eyes, messy bed-head hair, pajamas. Thermometer gags, medicine-taking, sneezing and coughing with visual productions of silly-string or something grosser. You get the idea.
