Somebody sent me this video of an apparently an "original" color change.

Now Now Now, let's not bash this guy but salute him for an individual conceivement of such an effect.

Post your opinions Smile

Oh, and when would this particular change be useful?
I don't see an advantage over the use of classic color changes like shake change or duck change

Have him send you a video with proper lighting and without all the "cute" special effects. Can't comment on something you can't see. Wasn't all that impressed by what I could see.

It doesn't offer any "advantages" per se, it's just different. As far as originality is concerned, I would be shocked if Ray Kosby hadn't played with something very similar if not identical.

Not bad. About as contrived as using a rising card deck to do that in the vertical plane but at least it shows some thinking and an interest in making teaser videos.

Chris SD, if you are thinking of A.R.M you might just be on the spot. I personally use A.R.M for this kind of effect, but I do not think that A.R.M is used.

Anyways, if you guys wanted to see the original video, here it is:

I am the one in the video,my change is not very original,it uses a variation on the A.R.M,its a nice visual clean change in my opinion since you start and end up with one card and its completely impossible to laymen, and also it could be done one handed by a fast twist of the wrist.

What does A.R.M. stand for?
