I believe that the two are completely different methods. Both dynamics of them are also very different from the ej moore linking ropes.

The Bavarian ropes are the same as the Hungarian ropes (by Peter Gloviczki). In that effect three seperate rope loops link into a chain of three, then two of the loops join into a single large loop, still linked to the third loop, and then the loops join to become a single rope. Sorry, but I don't know the King King ropes.

To my knowledge The King king are the "puzzle" effect that Steven's magic pawns off as a linking ropes effect. Ropes link, due to a special knot, the ropes do not unlink and this makes the effect unroutinable.

The linking rope that Stevens sells is a totally different method from the King King one.
The Stevens linking ropes was written up in Supreme magicgram some years ago. TrickyRicky |

The King -King Ropes I Boughfrom Abbotts more years ago than I can remember was different from all of the above, PERhaps the current title King KIng is a play on words i.e kinking. If that is the case, then it brings to mind the Abbotts version once again, The Abbots ropes did not actually link, but the illusion of their linking was created.
