Something I just found out. RIFCO is not the manufacturer of the balloons, they are a distributor. In the USA Kaboom balloons sells them too. On their site look for Italian balloons. They also have a south american company that sells an 8' balloon. I have no idea or knowledge anyone using these type of balloons.

On a side note it seems they sell these to many fetish people .... hmmmm

I saw it was 80" not 8', is it? thanks

I believe that the idea of a bullet catch is not exactly original. From what I recall John Cassidy performs a routine along those lines. Sorry.

I always thought it would be neat to premake a bunch of balloon figures and stuff them into an 8 foot balloon. That way you could just take it into a party, pop the balloon, kids yell as balloons fly everywhere, collect your money and leave.

As always,
Dylan

Ah, Thank you. I knew I recalled some sort of projectile. I guess all the talk of a bullet catch put the idea in my mind. Yes Mark is right, it was a lawn dart. I say go for the bullet catch then. Off the top of my head I can think of a handling that would work perfect.

I think this is a great idea after a magic show and I might have to try this.. Takes aways a little from the art of balloon but speeds up the process. Anyone done this??

After watching Larry Moss and three other people try to stuff a Cheshire Cat into a large balloon I wouldn't recommend it.

It would be easier to climb in make your balloon animals and then climb out .... in my honest opinion.

Lot of work to save how much time?? Not to mention $20 balloon

Best prices for these balloons with the increase in Latex cost this year appears to be this website that sell them to car dealers to advertise: http://shop.cloudbusterballoons.com/ $19 bucks each if you buy bulk (10)

Here's my idea, a straight jacket escape. Get put in a straight jacket, then get stuffed in an opaque balloon (good luck doing that without popping it), escape from the straight jacket and then pop the balloon from inside for the finale. Or have the balloon neck almost sealed so that some air can escape, I have to escape from the straight jacket before all the air escapes from the balloon.

thinking out loud (or is it typing out loud?) ... you could get into the jacket and with the help of 2 assistants get into the balloon ... stand on the opening(neck) and by rocking back & forth on your feet you can control the amount of escaping air ... act surprised as the balloon gets smaller, "oh no, there must be a leak in the balloon!" ... music gets faster ... milk it for all it's worth as it gets smaller and smaller (you would've gotten out of the jacket before letting it get too small to move around in) ... let it get as small as you can stand it and then pop the balloon and take your standing ovation.
Happily Yours,

Even funnier would be getting a noise maker. Like a squeeker but bigger and have it put into the neck once inside.
