Hi All
Have anyone of you seen Michael Weber doing a matrix with needles on a woodboard? He covers the needles one at the time with a cup, and they start traveling to one corner.. Is this in print somewhere? Is it Michael´s own routine? Thanks Kristian Denmark |

I've never heard of it or seen it, but it sure sounds cool.
Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That'll teach you to keep your mouth shut.

There is a video on the internet somewhere of him performing it on a Japanese television show. It's been a while since I watched it but I'm fairly sure he uses nails (not needles) that he hammers into a piece of wood as part of the performance. Astounding stuff. I don't think he has released this effect.

Sad for sure. I saw him do this live years ago and was hoping to be "refreshed" by seeing the video.
Phillipe Fialho, who lived in the South of France, used to do a chink a chink with chinese coins... and would NAIL one to the table, yet it still travelled. It was really a great routine. Before he died, he used to invite people like Vernon, Kaps, Bro. Hamman, et al, to his house for a week of magic every summer.

I've also seen the Japanese video of Weber doing the chink a chink with nails in wood covered by paper cups. I remember it being a very delicate procedure. The nails were gently tapped into the board and mysteriously changed places beneath the cups. Pete did you ever see this in person?

Yes, I thought I mentioned it above... But so long ago I don't remember much about it. I was more impressed with his wooden spoon in a bottle.
