On March 19 at 8 p.m. Heavens Nightclub is hosting “The Cabaret of Dr. Caligari”, one of the most unusual shows you’ll see in Seattle.
Hosted by Philemon Vanderbeck, who runs the Dr. Caligari Memorial Sanitorium, the evening is an educational experience displaying the various neuroses and maladies exhibited by half a dozen patients entrusted into his care. Philemon is an advocate of “performance therapy,” and it is his sincere belief by allowing his patients to act out their psychoses in public, that they progress closer along the road to recovery. In the past, aberrant conditions such as masochism, exhibitionism, and schizophrenia have been displayed, with bizarre twists. Each month, a particular theme is the focus of the exhibition. this time it’s, “Ready For Our Close-Up.” Tickets available at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/57710 Click here to view attached image.
