This is the only effect I like where red bikes seem more appropriate. Ugh.

I've done it for years with blue bikes and had such great success that for me blue just feels right. And I think the word "twilight" wormed into my psyche so I always imagine it as an angel vanishing into the gloaming, so blue always seemed appropriate to me.

Does anyone ever have problems with the contrast?

One thing that strikes me on the blue cards is that the white angels stand out a bit more. I think it would be personal preferance on what to use; I'm personally non-partisan on which to use.
Quick question: how much is shipping for the refills from the Astonishment Project? Or where can I get a low shipping cost for these? |

Mjmmagic is pretty good if you've ordered from them. It ends up being 9 bucks an free shippign at 15 bucks. you can buy from some other places but I think the hsipping makes it more

I ordered 50 refill cards (40 red & 10 blue) from TAP and it cost $25 for the cards, and $5.21 for first-class shipping.

Wow. That's a lot of giving away cards

They are pretty darn cheap and it's a great and memorable give-away. A spectator would much rather keep a card that they signed and has in the end turned into a seemingly impossible object as opposed to the signed card that kept jumping to the top. You can argue that point for goodness knows how long but just try it. Do some ambitious card routines for some people, note the reactions and how they handle their souvenir card at the end, then do Twilight Angels for another few other spectators and note the same for them. You'll see a difference in how they handle, talk about, and generally a different appreciation of the ambitious card and the Twilight Angel card.
In other words, chances are that they will more likely ask you if they can keep the Twilight Angel card as opposed to the usual ambitious card that folks usually don't ask about and you have to basically tell them "and you can keep that as a memory of the experience, etc. etc." |
