Who invented the Color Changing Knives? Where do they first appear in print or for sale in a catalog? I am not interested in other paddle move applcations, just the CC Knives. I have a couple sets of the Jimmy Sanders CC Knives. His Black / Black knife is diabolical and worth getting the knife set. He was known as the "King Of Knives". I have not been able to find a CC Knife reference prior to Jimmy Sanders. I have a few 8x10 photos of him. "King Of Knives" s been superimposed on one of the 8x10 photos.

The first references I have found thus far would put the knives at the later 1930s and I believe the early Kanter's catalogs from around those days may carry ads. I will look to see it I can find any of these early ads.

THe 1939 Kanter Catalog has a "Chameleon Knife" advertised. It may have been invented by Walter Jeans.
