I just picked in a supermarket ($2.50) a deck of Chinese made Motor Brand Playing Cards #976. They look like the old Bicycle rider deck except there is a motorbike instead of the bicycle. The cards seem to be of good quality. They are a bit resistant to faro shuffling than say Bikes. One extra card came with the deck and it was in the plastic wrapper outside of the cardcase. The card (the 4D in my case) is slightly longer and wider than the cards in the case. Anybody familiar with these cards?

Not familiar with them, but can't help to notice that what you have there (considering the outside card) is a deck of shorts! lol

That larger card that came outside the deck is the same size as a normal Bike poker card. All the other cards in the deck are slightly shorter. Very wierd.

This deck seems very odd to me, maybe your suppose to use the deck for some sort of trick or maybe it was just cheaply made and they made one card bigger by accident. lol

It sounds like a perfect "key card" deck. I'm not aware of any standard card games that require a larger card, so it would almost seem like it was packaged as a gimmicked deck. Available from supermarkets as a deck of standard playing cards for $2.50. Available from magic stores as a gimmicked deck for $22.50. Ok, sorry. |

These brand of playing cards are produced by some unknown Mainland China playing cards manufacturers, and basically are passing off of the playing cards of U.S. playing card company. Lots of book stores in HK are selling them.
But think of the bright side, you can construct some good tricks by using these cards with the regular fan deck and league deck of Bicycle. Zenneth |

I just received 12 decks that I bought on eBay for $11.95 including shipping! They even shipped them via Priority Mail.
