We are talking about something that anyone can go to most any hardware store, (and apparently Wal Mart, too!) and buy. What layman is going to figure out how to make a 3 foot walking stick vanish with a retractable key chain? I think they'd notice obvious problems pretty fast. I certainly wouldn't want a 3 foot walking stick flying back at me.

When I bought years ago the Fantasio real vanishing Cane I got the gimmick with the Cane.
As the cane it was made out of plastic and didn't last very long. I tried to repair it but gave up as the spring unwinded itself. So I bought a new gimmick from a hardware store. I tested aswell one that I used at work (hotel office). It was small, made out of plastic and the hotel keys attached to a thread and not to a metal chain. The problem with those are, that you can't block them. Oliver. |
